Want to become more flexible? As you build strength in all our wonderful classes, it is important to loosen your muscles as they grow. In this class, you will learn fundamental exercises that will help to increase muscle flexibility. Assisted stretching allows for deeper stretches and longer holds. Whether you just want to stretch out after a class or want to take your flexibility to the next level, you will definitely feel this class.
This one hour mixed level class will consist of a warmup, technique breakdown and drills, and a dance routine. We learn a dance over the course of 4 weeks, each week reviewing what we learned the previous week(s) and then learning a new section. This class is for those who want to learn the art of belly dancing as well as for students who want to master techniques like body rolls, shimmies and hip undulations. All fitness and experience levels are welcome.
This choreography focused class is a fun way to get your heart pumping. Each week you will have the opportunity to learn a completely new dance. Be ready for a fast paced, high energy hour of chair dancing. It is suggested that you take a few Chair Tease classes before trying Chair Choreography.
Cize is a revolutionary new dance workout created by Shaun T, the creator of Beachbody’s Insanity workout program. You’ll be learning professionally choreographed dance routines– the dance moves will be broken down step-by-step, gradually adding on till you can bust out the whole routine at the end! This is not like a typical dance class. You don’t need dance experience to take this class either! The moves are easy to learn, but you still get a great workout without feeling like you’re working out! Cize will improve cardiovascular endurance, core strength, and overall muscle tone—all while having a dance party! Join the movement and see why cize is “The END of exercise”
A pole dance is more than spins and tricks, it’s the transitions and floor work that helps to complete a routine. In our Floor Work for Pole class we will spend time going over basic dance technique as well as exploring movement that can be used to enhance your pole performances. A new mini routine will be taught every week.
Find your inner aerialist in this beginner level aerial hoop class. It will incorporate a warm-up and stretch to get the body loose and moving, conditioning using our bodies and the apparatus, instruction of beginning static moves, and a quick cool-down. Lyra will help build upper body strength, develop flexibility, and increase stamina.
In this level two class we will focus on more challenging moves, incorporating both strength and flexibility. It will begin with a warm-up and stretch to get the body loose and moving and conditioning, using our bodies and the apparatus. We will put together short combos, learn to transition smoothly between static moves building on skills learned in level 1 and learn more advanced moves. Lyra will help build upper body strength, develop flexibility, and increase stamina.
1) Please attend a minimum of 8 Lyra Level 1 classes before advancing
2) You must be able to invert without assistance (minimum 3 times in a row)
3) Must be able to do multiple single legs hangs in a row
4) Must feel comfortable doing hocks hangs from the top (without cheating)

Roll & Release
Foam rolling is a great way to loosen up the connective tissues to increase muscle flexibility and reduce pain… It’s just what your body needs not only to enhance your pole dancing, but also to recover after a good workout! Now, one of the most effective tools for physique-building, recovery, and injury prevention is at your disposal. In this 30 minute class, instructors will guide you on proper roller placement for effective self-myofascial release. Take this class and treat yourself to a little muscle recovery!
